Police have launched an investigation into a a car crash at Crawford Street, Queanbeyan. Here’s what we know so far.

NSW Police have confirmed a woman in her 70’s was behind the wheel of a car that crashed into a home in Queanbeyan.

On Monday at 4.20 pm emergency services were called to a home on Crawford St, Queanbeyan, after reports of a car crashed

Crews from NSW Fire and Rescue worked to free the trapped 79-year-old woman from her black Peugeot Sedan.


A Fire and Rescue spokesman said the woman was freed from the car by 5pm.

She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance, and transported to Queanbeyan Hospital in a stable condition.

An investigation into the circumstances of the crash has been launched by officers from the Monaro Police District.
