NSW Police allegedly discover $31m of cannabis plants north of Goulburn
More than ten thousand cannabis plants to the tune of $31m. That’s what taskforce cops found on Wednesday after raiding a property near the state’s capital. Two accused have faced court.

Two men have faced court following the alleged discovery of a staggering $31m worth of cannabis plants north of Goulburn after an extensive investigation.
The discovery was made by NSW Police during Strike Force Hyperion – an ongoing investigation by State Crime Command’s Drug and Firearms Squad targeting outdoor and greenhouse cannabis cultivation across the state.
Police revealed at 8.10am Wednesday, strike force detectives – with assistance from the Dog Squad – executed a search warrant at a property on Fullerton Rd, Fullerton.
During the search, police allegedly located an eye-watering 10,461 cannabis plants.
Two men, Van Dat Nguyen, 30, and Van Phong Dinh, 34, were arrested at the scene.
Nguyen and Dinh were taken to Goulburn Police Station, where they were each charged with knowingly take part in cultivating a large commercial quantity of cannabis.
The men were refused bail and appeared in Goulburn Local Court on Thursday before Magistrate Tim Khoo.
The pair are yet to enter pleas and remain in custody.
Their respective cases were adjourned for further mention at the same court on March 19.
Investigations under Strike Force Hyperion continue.
