The case of a military doctor turned Convoy to Canberra protester charged with dangerous driving has been delayed due to paperwork.
Adelaide man Bruce Paix, 57, pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving in a way that put the safety of a vulnerable road user at risk when he first appeared in court last month.
Mr Paix did not appear in court on Monday and his lawyer asked for a three week adjournment on Monday stating she was waiting on “outstanding material” relating to the case.
Magistrate Robert Cook granted the adjournment and set April 11 as a date for the pre hearing mention.
In February the court heard during protest activity held on February 5 Mr Paix allegedly drove around a traffic control officer who had cordoned off the road.
The court heard last month that Mr Paix was a wing commander in the air force but lost his job after he refused to comply with the vaccine mandate.
