Where to spend Dine and Discover vouchers in the Southern Highlands
From cafes to wineries and even a paddleboat, these are the places you can spend $100 worth of Dine and Discover vouchers in the Southern Highlands.
After a tough year, it’s time to celebrate a win for locals. Every adult in NSW is now eligible to apply for the government’s Dine and Discover vouchers. To get people out and spending to stimulate local economies, NSW will give each adult two $25 Dine vouchers and two $25 Discover vouchers.
Two Dine NSW vouchers can be redeemed for meals at restaurants, cafes, bars, wineries, or pubs. The catch is that the vouchers have to be used on dine-in meals and can’t be spent on takeaway or delivery food. They also can’t buy alcohol, tobacco, or be spent on gambling.
They are valid from Monday to Thursday, so they’re ideal for a midweek date night or after work debrief.

The two Discover NSW vouchers to encourage people to get out and explore their surroundings and do activities they may not otherwise be able to afford.
Discover vouchers can be spent on entertainment and recreation, like galleries, live music, and tourist activities. They’re able to be used seven days a week so there’s plenty of opportunity to take advantage of the $50 worth of fun.
Only two businesses in the Southern Highlands are registered for the program: Paddlewheeler (Hawkesbury) in Yanderra and Australian Tree Top Adventures in Knights Hill.
The Hawkesbury Paddlewheeler is a family-friendly nostalgic river cruise that boasts delicious meals, great entertainment, and beautiful views.
Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk is a favourite attraction for many families and tourists visiting the region. It features a 1.5m elevated walkway along the canopy of the rainforest. There are also ziplines and swinging bridges for thrill seekers.
The vouchers can’t be used on public holidays and are only valid until June 30 2021 to encourage locals to get out and spend big.
