A woman in her 70s has died in a single-vehicle crash over the weekend. Police are appealing for information.

Police are appealing for information after a woman in her 70s sadly passed away in a single-vehicle crash over the weekend.
On Sunday, emergency services were called at about 1.30pm to the Hume Highway near Wollumbi Road, Marulan, after there were reports a car had collided with a tree.
The woman was believed to be driving north on the highway when she veered off the road over an embankment and hit the tree.
Witnesses came to the assistance of the driver – who was the sole occupant – before emergency services arrived.
However she died at the scene.
Officers from The Hume Police District attended and have commenced inquiries into the crash.
A report will also be prepared for the Coroner.
