Goulburn Performing Arts Centre: Flickerfest coming this weekend
Australia’s most recognised short film festival, Flickerfest, will be coming to Goulburn audiences this weekend as part of their national tour.

Southern Tablelands film lovers can look forward to a screening of the best short films this weekend, chosen by Australia’s biggest short film festival, Flickerfest.
Celebrating 31 years in 2022, Flickerfest presents A-list short film programs recognised among the best in the world with films hand-picked from the festival’s record 3200 entries.
Having recently concluded their festival competition in Bondi, Sydney, the festival will now be taking their Best of Australian Shorts program to the newly opened Goulburn Performing Arts Centre.
The program aims to shine a spotlight on incredible short film talent in the Australian industry.
Program highlights include:
- ‘Giants’ from director Eddy Bell, taking home Flickerfest’s Best Australian Short film award and the Best Original Music award.
- Moving and intimate sibling drama ‘You Me Before And After’ starring Yael Stone (‘Orange Is The New Black’) and Emily Barclay (‘Mr In Between’, ‘Glitch’, ‘Baby Teeth’).
- Quirky black space comedy ‘The Home Team’ starring comedy legend Paul McDermott and acclaimed actress Tara Morice (‘Strictly Ballroom’).
- Fun neighbourly drama ‘Stonefish’ written by and starring accomplished young Australian Actor, George Pullar and directed by acclaimed actress and first time director Megan Smart, known for her most recent roles in mini series ‘Wakefield’ (2021) and ‘Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway (2021).
Flickerfest is screening for free on Sunday April 3 at 5pm.
