Woman shot in foot, ‘refuses’ to co-operate with police
POLICE are still trying to piece together an apparent shooting in Mt Druitt on Sunday morning, which left a young woman with a wound to her foot. But they say, she has refused to help.

THE victim of a suspected shooting in Mt Druitt on Sunday has refused to co-operate with police.
Investigations continue into the incident, which saw police cordon off a property on Hythe St.
Police were still trying to piece together the circumstances surrounding the incident on Monday afternoon.
A woman, 19, went to Mt Druitt Hospital about 1.20am on Sunday morning with a gunshot wound to her foot.
Police were called and questioned the woman, who remained tight-lipped, according to a Mt Druitt detective.
It is understood the woman has since been released from hospital.
However, inquiries led Mt Druitt police officers to a property on Hythe St — a short walk from Mt Druitt Hospital — where they established a crime scene.
No one has yet been charged over the incident.
