Despite his young age, Albert Litisoni is making an impact on the sporting stage.
The 12-year-old Marayong Public School student is a star in both rugby codes.
After moving from Griffith to Blacktown this year, Litisoni has made pretty much every representative side there is.
A stellar year with both his school and the Rouse Hill Rhinos under-12/1 side saw him selected in the Sydney West squad for the NSW PSSA rugby league open championships.
The team went through the tournament group and semi-final stages undefeated before falling to Mackillop in the grand final 22-6.
Albert wouldn’t have to wait long to claim a title, however, taking out the under-12 rugby union national primary schools championships with the NSW first XV.
“Albert has done exceptionally well in 2017,” Marayong Public School’s sports co-ordinator Catherine Graham said.
“He’s so down-to-earth and just such a humble and grateful kid. He always thinks of others before himself.”
