Quakers Hill Junior Soccer Club has continued to prove its dominance in the Blacktown District Soccer Football Association by taking out both the Premier League and Premier League Reserves competitions.

This year’s titles push Quakers Hill’s total number of premierships in both grades to 14 each, more than twice as many as any other club.

It’s also the first time a team has won “the double” since 2005 when Quakers Hill last achieved the feat.

Quakers Hill Junior Soccer Club president Stephen Hancock said it was a phenomenal achievement.

“Blacktown District is a very strong competition,” Mr Hancock said. “To win either competition is very special, so for both Quakers Hill teams to get the double is really quite remarkable.

Quakers Hill now has more than twice as many premierships in both grades than any other club.

“It really is a credit to the players and coaching staff.”

Adding to the milestone is the fact that Blacktown District Soccer Football Association is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

“Quakers Hill won the double in BDSFA’s first year, on their 25th anniversary and now on their 40th anniversary,” Mr Hancock said.

“This year has certainly been one for the record books.”

He said he was confident the club could carry its momentum into next year.

“We are a very young squad who have a very big future ahead of them,” he said. “We have very high expectations for next season.”
