Alex Trajanoski’s love for football leads him into Joeys under 15s squad

It was love at first sight for budding Socceroo Alex Trajanoski.
From the very moment he was given his first football he knew what he wanted to do with his life.
“I remember my dad buying me a football and right from then I knew I had a love for the game,” said the Blacktown Spartans player recently selected in the Joeys under 15 squad.
“I think I was around four.
“I just loved playing straight away.
“It is my goal to be a professional football players. It is everything I have ever wanted.
“I got for Liverpool in the English Premier League. That is my goal.”
Trajanoski has been in Canberra at the Australian Institute of Sport training with other rising stars of the sport at a Joeys under 15s camp.
This group is beginning a journey players hope will eventually lead them to the FIFA under 17 World Cup in 2021.
Ahead is potential participation at the 2019 AFF under 15 championship, the 2020 AFC under 16 championship qualifiers in September and the 2020 AFC under 16 championship in 2020.
Joeys coach Trevor Morgan assembled both under 15s and under 17s groups at the camp as part of the development of the men’s football pathway.
“We want to improve the standard of Australian football and give members of both squads a clear sense of where they sit in the development pathway,” he said.
