KINGS LANGLEY

Police are investigating an armed robbery at Solander Rd on Monday about 5am. Police said three men wielding a knife and other weapons demanded money from a worker. Police allege the trio fled in a white sedan and was last seen wearing face coverings. Quakers Hill police are investigating. The staff member suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Police would like to speak with three men who may be able to assist. They are described as being of Caucasian appearance and aged between 18 and 20.

BLACKTOWN

A man has been charged with larceny after he allegedly tried to steal from a parked car on Sunday morning. The man, 53, from Auburn broke into a car parked at a house on Kildare Rd about 10am. He allegedly opened the tailgate and rummaged around in the boot area. The car’s owner, a man, 45, was sleeping inside the house when he was woken by his barking dog. The owner confronted the man who allegedly threatened him with a screwdriver. The owner managed to force the screwdriver out of the man’s hand and subdue him.

BLACKTOWN

A Blacktown man, 25, was arrested and charged on Friday afternoon with five counts of forging and altering prescriptions. The offences are alleged to have been committed at pharmacies in the Blacktown area during December and January. The man will face court in March.

DOONSIDE

A Quakers Hill man will appear in court tomorrow after allegedly assaulting a man on Saturday night. A Doonside man, 46, was walking along Tivoli Place about 10.20pm when he was confronted by the Quakers Hill man, 33, who alleged that he had kicked his dog. The Quakers Hill man then allegedly punched the other man who fell to the ground. He has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The Doonside man received treatment in hospital for bruising and abrasions.

SEVEN HILLS

Police are appealing for information after a man, 35, was punched and robbed on Saturday night. The Woodcroft man was walking along Best Rd towards the train station. He reached the intersection of George St when he was punched from behind. He fell to the ground and a man stole his wallet and ran away. The man was with other men who are described as being of African appearance, as well as a man of Islander appearance riding a bike. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact Blacktown police.
