THIS image of Blacktown Hospital shows the massive scale of the $700 million redevelopment — one that has led Premier Gladys Berejiklian to declare it the best in the world.

“We are delivering first-class health care and thousands of new jobs for western Sydney,” she said during a visit to inspect stage two of the project on Friday.

The praise follows the hospital’s clinical services building (as part of stage one) being voted best in the world at the International Academy for Design and Health Academy Awards in Vienna last month.
