THE first stage of a 400-apartment complex at Seven Hills was introduced on Friday — with an incentive designed to attract first homeowners.
Mason Apartments will have 138 units over six levels and is the initial stage of the $250 million The Hills Village at Olive St.
Civic Properties offered $20,000 first homeowner’s grant for the first 20 buyers on Friday.
This is in addition to the government’s grant scheme.
Civic Properties development manager Chris Ferris said there was strong interest from first home buyers, with seven applying for the grants so far.
“We have seen first home buyers being squeezed out of the property market over the past couple of years and understand how hard it can be to get a foot in the door,” he said.
“By offering this first homebuyer incentive, we’re giving first home buyers the extra help they may need to crack that first purchase and enter Sydney’s competitive property market.”
Mr Ferris said the development would appeal to a range of people including investors and young families.
“We are excited to bring city living to western Sydney so residents can enjoy a low-maintenance lifestyle with easy access to amenities, public transport and employment centres without compromising on quality or living space,” he said.
Construction of Mason Apartments is set to begin in March 2017 with expected completion in October 2018.
A sales office is at 1 Olive St, Seven Hills, and is open from 10am to 4pm from Tuesday to Sunday or by appointment.
