/20100. Presley Aaron is a chocolate bi-colour ragdoll named after Elvis because he believes he is a King and a God. This rural Melbourne boy arrived in Sydney on a jet. He runs the house, is on constant border control and is possessive of his family. Presley has gorgeous blue eyes and can be very affectionate. His favourite toys are his mother’s shopping bags. Kylie Little
/2099: My kitty cat is the queen of CATitude! She has soo much sass and takes no crap from no human or fellow cat! Don't feed her as soon as you wake up/come home and you will feel her wraith which is her teeth around your ankle! She is the ruler of our house. Wouldn't change her though: D Lana Sloane, South Windsor
/2098. This is his Lordship 'Tippi'. He is 2 years old & rules the roost, so to speak. Between our family, we have four dogs & they are all scared of him, & he knows it. He is a rescue cat & my husband bought him for me for my birthday, which is the 20/9 & Tippi is the 19/9, but he is definitely daddy's boy! They talk to each other every morning!! Soo Martyn
/2097.Police Cat Splashe (PC Splashe) from Bourke Police Stateion. In February 2017, a very underweight and dehydrated Splashe turned up at Bourke Police Station where he was estimated to be 6-months-old. After two weeks, he’d moved in with officers taking him to the vet to be checked, wormed, vaccinated and de-sexed. The public helped police name Splashe – a nod to a drink made in Bourke. He is now in charge of pest control and looks after the officers working night shift. His hobbies include climbing the grapevines, patrolling the roof and eating roast chicken.
/2096. Simba should be in the top 100 felines because he is a beautiful cat and has the most affectionate personality of an animal one would ever come across. His vet called him a ‘cat-walk’ model and was quite impressed with his friendly personality. He frequently needs reminding that he actually is not a person. Kate Lowe, North Kellyville
/2095: As the sun begins to set on another scorching Sydney summer day, I prepare to commence my nightshift as a perioperative nurse, however my friend 'Archie' aka Lord Detritus of Dural who is a 4 year old Ragdoll (breed of cat) looks displeased. He is my best buddy, always there to talk to when I arrive home at 8am and need to download the events of the previous night, babies, car accidents, trauma of some description. Regan~Zara Tarbert
/2094. My cats Malta (left) and Kitty (right) are most definitely the coolest and most photogenic cats on the block! Although Malta looks like a kitten, they’re the same age! Alexanda Williamson
/2093. This is a posthumous entry for our beloved cat beast Corky. Part dog, part human, he was one hell of a cat and we loved him for 16 years. 12kgs of fat and fur, he lived like a king. He epitomised ‘zero f#%ks given’ at all times. He slept only in beds, drank out of cups and preferred a diet of prawns, ham and cheese. He could hear a deli bag rustled from a kilometre away and take you down. He was the best there ever was. Lauren Day, Gledswood Hills
/2092. From keeping her company watching a movie or to give a helping paw with her homework; Scamps cat has and is always there for my daughter … as long as a warm laptop involved;)
/2091. Pikachu — This is “Chew Chew” also known as Pikachu, my niece’s one and a half year old cat. This photo was taken when she was just a few months old, hanging out in a tree in the backyard with not a care in the world. She’s very cheeky and gets into a lot of mischief. Great entertainment for the whole family! Vivian Kosseifi, Concord
/2090. My cat Pepper is extremely vain and fashion conscious. She struts around like a model on the catwalk every time she has a new outfit! Jerry Yam
/2089. Gomez is our 4 year old British Shorthair, who thinks that he is the king of the castle. He loves going for walks around Sydney’s Northern Beaches with his bat cat harness, and lazing around in the sunshine. He brings us so much joy with his cuteness overload and we want to share that joy!! Eliza and Sean, Dee Why
/2088. Rosa came to our family 12 years ago from Battersea when we lived in London. She had been found on a council estate and no-one wanted to adopt her … yet my husband and I did. She emigrated with us to Sydney and has grown to be a treasured family member. She lives with another rescue, a dog called Taz and our three children who adore her quirky characteristics and unpredictability. Justine Keays
/2087. This is my cat Greg. My son's friends Nan passed away about 2 years ago and we took her cat in (then named Nutmeg). My husband wouldn't let me keep her unless we called her Greg. So here she is, Greg watching over the dog and chickens Her best mate is our dog Bazza. Kristine Mackie, Erina
/2086. Princess Michaels of Dee Why — We thought Princess Michaels was a boy — originally 'Michael' Renamed with a 'french touch' when we realised she a girl. Always looking out the window for Dad to come home from work, or just chilling out on the bed watching Netflix — Michaels is a constant source of happiness for us.
/2085. Happy 2nd Birthday Alfie. Alfie is the life of the party and everyone loves him. Kathryn Harold
/2084. This cross eyed pretty kitty sees the world from two sides. Whilst it is not a cat-astrophe, this gorgeous girl definitely needs to be cata-logued into the top 100 felines. Tracey Maxwell, Caringbah
/2083. My name is Posh. I own four humans and one Border Collie who mistakenly thinks I am one of her sheep. I am not. She works for me. I am the matriarch of the family. I like my food on demand, only like fresh shower water to drink and allow my humans to share a bed with me. I am 100% Posh. Written by one of my human slaves Louisa, Dee Why.
/2082. Dog Unit Cat Lenny — NSW Police Force Dog Unit, Sydney. In the summer of 2011/2012, two kennel attendants found an abandoned 4-week-old kitten in the Dog Unit. After disappearing for a few months, the kitten returned and began visiting the Unit regularly for food, shelter and to visit the new puppies. He was soon adopted, given his own kennel and promoted him to Pest Control Manager, Compost King and Site Security. Lenny entertains himself by playing “chicken” with the dogs and conducting his own assessments on the staff to test their reflexes and strength.
/2081 Hi! My name is “Spike” and I live with my owners Ron and Jan (in Narrabri). I also live with my best friend, “Rosie”, their dog. I love her so much. I want to play with her so I jump on her back and play with her tail. Sadly, she doesn’t love me and when I lie near her she moves away. When “Rosie” goes outside, I cry and howl. Life is so sad.
