Man charged over stabbing at Bungarribbee Rd Blacktown

A MAN has been charged for allegedly stabbing another man in the neck and chest in a boarding house in Sydney’s west on Saturday.

A MAN, 43, has been charged with a stabbing at a Blacktown boarding house on Saturday.

Two men allegedly became involved in a fight at the Bungarribee Rd home at 7.30pm.

Police say one of the men, aged 42, had multiple stab wounds to his neck and chest.

The man fled the scene before police arrived.

The 42-year-old man was taken to Westmead Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

People went to the boarding house about 5.40pm on Sunday and arrested the 43-year-old man.

He was taken to Blacktown police station where he was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Court today.
