Bus driver accused of preying on school kids with disabilities leaves court

A man accused of sexually touching schoolchildren with disabilities while working as a bus driver will fight the allegations in court.

Greystanes man Joseph Raymond Saba, 51, pleaded not guilty in the Blacktown Local Court on Thursday to six charges of intentionally sexually touching a child between 10 and 16.

He was supported by one person in the public gallery.

Police allege Saba preyed upon and sexually touched multiple children with disabilities while working as a bus driver taking the children to a school in Sydney’s west.

A report made in August sparked the police investigation.

Magistrate Aaron Tang on Thursday ordered a brief of evidence to be organised by October 17.

Saba will return to court in Blacktown on November 7.
