Jason Galleghan: Fresh arrests over teen’s Doonside death

Two more arrests have been made in connection with the death of 16-year-old Jason Galleghan at a Doonside home, including a woman who has been charged with his murder.

Two more people have been charged in connection with the alleged murder of 16-year-old Jason Galleghan.

The teen was found badly beaten with injuries to his head and chest at a home on Perigee Close, Doonside, on August 4.

He was taken to Westmead Hospital, where he later died.

Eight people – aged between 13 and 32 – have since been charged over their alleged roles. They remain before the courts.

Following further inquiries, police searched a unit on Richmond Road, Kingswood, about 6am yesterday (October 26).

During the search, they seized a mobile phone and clothing which they allege is relevant to the investigation.

An 18-year-old man was arrested and taken to Mt Druitt Police Station where he was charged with conceal serious indictable offence – murder.

The teen was granted strict conditional bail to appear before Blacktown Local Court on November 25.

A second property was searched on Myrtus Crescent, Bidwill, about 7.30am and 36-year-old Stacey Pale was arrested and taken to Mt Druitt Police Station.

She was charged with murder, take/detain in company with intent to get advantage occasion actual bodily harm and cause grievous bodily harm to person with intent.

Pale was refused bail to appear in Mt Druitt Local Court on Wednesday.

At court she was refused bail and will appear again before the courts in December.
