Erica Watson and Jenny Ringland share simple ways to live a more sustainable lifestyle
Green+Simple founders Erica Watson and Jenny Ringland are sharing their realistic advice on sustainable living.
Whether it’s reducing your household waste, composting food scraps and saving money with household remedies, there’s lots we can do to live sustainable lives.
And now two journalists and mums are making it even easier with the launch of their online platform Green+Simple.
Erica Watson and Jenny Ringland created the site to offer realistic and achievable advice on sustainable and low-tox living.
It showcases everything from ideas on how to reduce household waste and natural beauty tips to the best reusable coffee cups and how to teach children to care for the planet.
“We started Green+Simple because we both had small children and we were concerned about the ingredients in baby products,’’ co-founder Watson said.
“From there it opened up an entire discussion around sustainability, waste and our desire to live more simply.’’
As well as make better choices for their families and the environment, the women say they are also championing the belief that the small change we create together can have a huge impact.
“We wanted to empower people to make small changes because once you start it opens your eyes to all the other little ways you can adjust your lifestyle,” co-founder Ringland said.
Green+Simple also features stories on ethical fashion, clean beauty, organic baby and kids products, as well as interviews with eco change-makers.
Watson and Ringland have partnered with NewsLocal to write a weekly column with easy to digest advice on the simple ways that you can live a more sustainable lifestyle.
