Bathurst: Kyle Jarrod Howard, 26, charged with gun and drug offences after raid
Police have allegedly seized cars, a motorcycle, guns, weapons and drugs after an early morning knock on a door to serve a firearms prohibited order turned into a search warrant. A man who arrived during the raid has been charged.

A man has been charged with gun and drug offences after a raid on a Bathurst property allegedly uncovered firearms, ammunition, knives and drugs.
Police also seized two SUVs, a motorcycle, gun parts and a rifle cleaning kit after they attended the home to serve a firearm prohibition order and subsequently executed a search warrant about 6.15am on Thursday.
Kyle Jarrod Howard, 26, arrived at the home less than two hours after the raid and was arrested and taken to Bathurst police station.
He was charged with two counts of possessing an unauthorised pistol, two counts of possessing ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority, two counts of using, supplying, acquiring or possessing a stolen firearm or part and two counts of possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit.
Howard was also charged with possessing a prohibited drug, self administering or attempting to self administer a prohibited drug and disqualified driving.
Police allege they seized a bag containing a “white crystallised substance believed to be methylamphetamine".
Howard faced Orange Local Court on Friday where he was not required to enter any pleas.
He was refused bail and remanded in custody to appear in Bathurst Local Court on July 16.
