What the hell was this woman doing in the White House?

SHE’S been called a “vile, shameless, vicious, duplicitous, lying, conniving, backstabbing piece of work”. Which begs the question - why did Donald Trump hire her?

WHEN Donald Trump installed celebrity Omarosa Manigault-Newman in a communications role in the White House, there were plenty who raised eyebrows at the wisdom of turning a reality TV star into a political operative.

Omarosa had twice appeared on The Apprentice, the reality show hosted by Mr Trump before he got into politics, and parlayed that association with Mr Trump into a stint on his presidential campaign and then into the White House as director of communications for its Office of Public Liaison.

A year after, it went pear-shaped, with the fiery star pushed out of the White House in December.

Now she’s turned up on another reality show Celebrity Big Brother US, and looksset to spill the President’s secrets.

But UK journalist and commentator Piers Morgan has unloaded on his Celebrity Apprentice US castmate with a few secrets of his own.

‘LIKE A VIPER’
He says she offered him sex to win the reality show, then turned on him “like a viper” when he rejected her “showmance” idea, resorting to homophobic slurs while they filmed the show in 2008.

In an op-ed for the Daily Mail, Morgan questioned why a “relentlessly loathsome” person such as Omarosa was offered a job in the White House in the first place.

“I’ve met a lot of vile human beings in my life, from dictators and terrorists to sex abusers and wicked conmen,” he wrote.

“But I’ve never met anyone quite so relentlessly loathsome as Omarosa; a vicious, duplicitous, lying, conniving, backstabbing piece of work,” Morgan wrote.

“Which begs the question: what the hell was she doing inside the world’s most powerful building for 12 months?”

Morgan said he had “never been spoken to in my life like the disgusting, foul-mouthed, homophobic way Omarosa spat at me throughout the weeks of filming”.

“Because I’d rejected her revolting sex plot, she decided the best line of attack was to repeatedly question my sexuality in the most crude and offensive manner imaginable,” he wrote, adding Omarosa also threw barbs about his split from his ex-wife.

“The mother of your children hates you Piers ... and your children f***ing hate you, they’re embarrassed by you. Is there another man raising your children?” Morgan claimed Omarosa said.

“Shut the f**k up, a**hole. How are your kids going to feel when they wake up and discover their dad’s a f**king f*gg*t?”

Morgan said Omarosa is a “reprehensible human being, prepared to offer sex to win a reality TV show and use the most vile homophobic slurs against rival contestants”.

“She did all this purely so it would bring her more airtime, and more attention.”

He suggested she is repeating the dose on Celebrity Big Brother, after spending her time at the White House “amassing a whole mass of damaging information to now use against Mr Trump and his administration”.

‘BEGGING FOR DAYS OF TRUMP’
Already, preview clips have shown Omarosa offering warnings about what is going on in the White House of Donald Trump, Reuters reports.

In one, she has Vice President Mike Pence in her sights, warning other contestants “as bad as you think Trump is, you would be worried about Pence.”

“Everyone wishing for impeachment might want to reconsider,” she says, adding that they would be “begging for days of Trump if Pence became president.”

“He’s extreme. I am Christian, I love Jesus, but he thinks Jesus tells him to say things there. I’m like, ‘Jesus didn’t say that.’ Scary.”

Last week she claimed she tried to temper Trump’s infamous tweeting but was blocked by other advisers.

The White House hit back with a zinger: “Omarosa was fired three times on The Apprentice, and this is the fourth time we’ve let her go,” spokesman Raj Shah said.

Omarosa was booted from the White House because she was using the work pick-up and drop-off service for personal use, The New York Post reported.

When fed-up White House chief of staff John Kelly gave her the axe, she then tried to sneak into the White House to make a personal appeal to President Trump, but was busted when she tripped security.

The moment was famously parodied by Alec Baldwin in a skit on Saturday Night Live.

Morgan, who in the past has supported Mr Trump, said when Omarosa was appointed to the White House his disquiet at her being involved in his campaign turned to “absolute horror”.

“I don’t subscribe to the theory that President Trump is mentally unstable, but this particular decision severely tested my faith,” he said.

“In our Celebrity Apprentice season, she was fired when we were rival project managers, after I destroyed her in a challenge in what Trump called ‘the greatest slaughter in the history of the Apprentice’.

“Yet he took this serial loser, and horrible human being, into the heart of the White House to spread her poison.”
