US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has clashed with a Democratic Senator over the decision to resettle a group of white South African ‘refugees’.

Donald Trump has unveiled plans to build a giant ‘Golden Dome’ missile shield system to protect the US against foreign attacks.

“Once fully constructed, the Golden Dome will be capable of intercepting missiles even if they are launched from other sides of the world and even if they are launched from space,” the President said.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russia of “trying to buy time” a day after Mr Trump announced Ukraine and Russia would start ceasefire negotiations “immediately ”.
