A FEMALE physical education teacher in the UK could be jailed after she admitted sex acts with two former girl students.
Sandrine Brown, 31, pleaded guilty to inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and five counts of sexual activity with a child.
The charges relate to two girls, one aged 13 and the other 16. The Warwick Crown Court was told at one stage all three shared a bed.
“There is evidence that there was an occasion when all three were in bed together, but no evidence of any sexual activity on that occasion,” prosecutor Graeme Simpson said, according to the The Telegraph.
Judge Andrew Lockhart QC said there had been a “gross breach of trust”.
“The court is dealing here with a teacher who has abused the position of trust she was given by the education authority by reason of the position she took between 2008 and 2011.
“It involves a gross breach of trust. These are often matters of complex relationships which develop over a period of time and become confused. But it is a very serious matter, as she has no doubt been told.”
Brown was arrested in April this year and is no longer a teacher at Finham Park School in Coventry. Her victims are also no longer at the school, The Mirror reported.
Brown has been bailed until she is sentenced in November.
