Cassie Ventura, the ex-girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs, has taken the stand as the prosecution’s key witness in the hip-hop mogul’s sex-trafficking trial.
During hours of gruelling testimony, the heavily pregnant singer, who will appear again in court tomorrow, detailed how Combs would frequently assault her and allegedly force her to participate in “freak-offs”, where she had sex with male escorts.
As Combs’ children listened in court, Ventura claimed the encounters made her “feel worthless”, saying the music producer controlled every aspect of her life and career.
The jury was shown for a second time the infamous 2016 video depicting Combs attacking Ventura in a hotel hallway as the R&B singer testified assaults by him were “too many to count.”
