Friend of Sarah Ferguson, Trammell Crow Jr, to face court over alleged ‘sex trafficking ring’

Claims of sex abuse have been made against a friend of Sarah Ferguson, months after unrelated abuse claims were settled by her ex-husband, Prince Andrew.

A friend of the Duchess of York is facing legal action in civil court over an alleged sex-trafficking ring.

Property magnate Trammell Crow Jr, 72, is facing a lawsuit from two women who claim they were sexually abused by a ring he financed, reported The Sun.

The environmental philanthropist is friends with Sarah Ferguson, 63, the former wife of Prince Andrew - who was forced into royal exile over unrelated sex abuse claims. He denied the claims. The case ended in a settlement with accuser Virgina Giuffre.

Court documents obtained by The Sun show Julia Hubbard and Kayla Goedinghaus began a lawsuit against Mr Crow and others in California in November, alleging the ring used doctors‘ prescriptions to keep the women drugged.

“Crow maintained what he called lingerie rooms in each property he owned in which he kept a variety of lingerie for female guests to wear, as well as what he called ‘stripper shoes’,” the documents allege.

Mr Crow’s lawyer, Ken C Stone, aid the accusations were “absurd and blatantly false” and Mr Crow will seek to have the case dropped at an upcoming hearing.

A spokesman for Fergie said: “The Duchess has only met Mr Crow once with others to discuss environmental issues.”

Ken C. Stone told The Sun in a statement: “The story shared by the Plaintiffs is upsetting and paints a picture of numerous troubled and broken domestic relationships.

“However, the account of events linking our client, and many others, to this story is both absurd and blatantly false.

“We are certain this will be made clear in future legal proceedings.”

It comes as Prince Andrew has been complaining that he was left no money by the Queen when she died.

The disgraced Duke of York, 63, has told friends he received none of his mother’s estimated £650 million (A$1.2mn) fortune to help him rebuild his life.

Her legacy instead passed to King Charles, who is not by law required to pay tax on it — and is yet to give any to his siblings, fearing it may appear a tax dodge.

Prince Andew, who has lost his taxpayer-funded guards and accommodation at Buckingham Palace in the past six months, is said to be “bewildered” at receiving no money.

He lost his public funding when he stepped down as a working royal over sex abuse allegations, which he vehemently denies.

He also stands to lose the Royal Lodge which he shares with his Ms Ferguson.

The Duke does not have the funds to maintain the 31-room, £30 million (A$50mn) grace-and-favour mansion in Windsor Great Park.
