New aerial photos show the shocking destruction that hit the city of Beirut after this week’s explosion.

The photographs show port structures with little left behind, sitting completely destroyed and blown apart by the blast that hit the port and surrounding areas.

Residential buildings in nearby neighbourhoods were also left severely impacted by the explosion leaving up to 300,000 people homeless.
