THE WESTERN Sydney home where a 39-year-old woman was found dead yesterday was a “troubled site” where vehicles often pulled up outside, neighbours said.
A 42-year-old man who didnt’ live at the property has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault to face Bankstown Local Court today.
Police and emergency services were called to the rundown property in Cardigan Rd in Greenacre to find the body around 10.30am yesterday.
A neighbour, who did not want to be named, said residents were getting tired of the trouble in their quiet street.
“I knew it was going to come I just didn’t know when,” the neighbour said.
They said when the street filled with police cars yesterday they had hoped the trouble was over.
“The street has been closed three times since October, I think the situation speaks for itself,” the neighbour said.
“It’s been a troubled site put it that way.”
Another neighbour said random vehicles regularly pulled up near the house.
