Seven teenagers, including Brighton girl, 15, charged over wild Melbourne crime spree
A 15-year-old girl from Brighton and a 14-year-old boy are among seven teenagers charged over a wild crime spree in which a home in Williamstown was violently invaded.

A gang of teens all under the age of 16 have been charged after allegedly going on a wild crime spree, breaking into a home in Williamstown armed with weapons and stealing a number of cars.
The group of seven teenagers, including a 15-year-old girl from Brighton, allegedly ran amok late last week starting at a gym on Ripon St in Elsternwick.
Police allege the group fled the scene in a stolen Kia Carnival and Mazda 3 about 11pm on September 12 and made their way to Williamstown.
They allegedly broke into a home on Hannan St, making off with cash, jewellery and a luxury Mercedes GT.
Police found the stolen Mazda on Bank St in South Melbourne where they arrested four of the teens nearby at about 3am on September 13.
A 15-year-old Brighton girl, a 14-year-old Wheelers Hill boy, a 15-year-old Leongatha boy and a 15-year-old Cowes boy have been charged with burglary, aggravated burglary and a slew of motor vehicle thefts.
The Brighton girl was remanded and will face a children’s court at a later date.
The three boys were all bailed and will also face a children’s court.
Police found the stolen Kia on Dover St in Williamstown on September 13.
Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives tracked down the three remaining teens at a home in Burwood East on September 14.
They also discovered the stolen Mercedes in an underground carpark.
A 15-year-old Pakenham girl and a 15-year-old Traralgon boy were charged with theft of a motor vehicle and bailed to appear at a children’s court.
A 14-year-old Hampton Park boy was charged with burglary, aggravated burglary and three counts of theft of motor vehicle.
He was remanded and will face a children’s court at a later date.
