Four passengers left their mate for dead after a stolen Porsche flipped in a wild crash that remains under police investigation.
The luxury vehicle was travelling on the Nepean Highway in Bonbeach before it careered into the fence of a power substation about 2.30am on Wednesday morning.
Pictures from the scene show the black vehicle on its roof with debris strewn across the highway as police and fire crews assess the wreck.
The male driver of the Porsche, who is in his 20s, was taken to hospital under police guard.
Four other passengers ran from the scene before police arrived.
One of them, a woman in her early 20s, was arrested nearby.
Detectives understand the Porsche had been stolen on Saturday.
It is suspected of being linked to a handful of other incidents across the city but police are yet to reveal those details.
The three other occupants of the Porsche were on Wednesday afternoon yet to be located.
