Body of man found in Westfield Southland car park in Cheltenham
A man’s body has been found in the car park of a major shopping centre in Melbourne’s southeast and police have set up a crime scene.

A crime scene has been established after a man’s body was found at a major Melbourne shopping centre.
Police are investigating the man’s death after his body was found in the carpark of Westfield Southland in Cheltenham about 5.30am on Thursday.
The deceased man was located by a member of the public off Chesterville Rd.
The area was cordoned off and police erected a crime scene.
The circumstances surrounding the man’s death are yet to be determined but police said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
The man’s body remained under a white sheet in the car park below a stairwell at 9am.
A small section of the car park was cordoned off but the rest was open as usual.
