Walker suffers medical episode on Mount Louisa walking tracks

Emergency services carried down a walker who suffered a medical episode near the summit of the new Mount Louisa walking tracks.

Emergency services carried down a walker who suffered a medical episode near the summit of the new Mount Louisa walking tracks.

Multiple firefighting crews and paramedics assisted the man, reportedly in his 20s.

The man was taken to Townsville University Hospital.

The walking tracks opened at the start of the month and stretch more than 3.5km and are built using 1700 steps.
