A 19-year-old woman has been charged after the stabbing of two women in Bushland Beach on Saturday morning, as well as a separate incident on Sunday afternoon where a 35-year-old was stabbed.
A 17-year-old has also been charged.
Police allege at around 2.50am on May 17 a verbal altercation occurred between three people all of whom were known to each other, at a residence on Daintree Drive.
Two women were injured, a 43-year-old with injuries to her hand and a 38-year-old woman with an injury to her shoulder.
Both women were transported to Townsville University Hospital for treatment.
The 19-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of wounding and one count of wilful damage.
She has also been charged in relation to a second wounding incident in Kirwan on May 18 around 1pm.
Police allege the woman and a 17-year-old male entered a Eureka Crescent address where there was an altercation.
A 35-year-old man sustained stab wounds to his hand and attended Mater Private Hospital for treatment.
Again, all parties were known to each other.
The 19-year-old woman has also been charged with one count each of enter dwelling with intent, enter dwelling and commit, and wounding.
She was remanded in custody to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on May 19.
The 17-year-old male was charged with one count each of entering dwelling with intent and wounding.
He was remanded in custody to appear in Townsville Children’s Court on May 19.
Investigations are ongoing, and police urge anyone with information to come forward.
EARLIER: A woman is still on the run and after a stabbing in Bushland Beach on Saturday.
It’s understood two women sustained stab wounds after a verbal altercation with another woman on Daintree Drive just before 3am on May 17.
The pair were transported to Townsville University Hospital, one a 43-year-old with a hand injury, the other a 38-year-old with an injury to her shoulder.
The 43-year-old is expected to require surgery, and remains in a stable condition, the 38-year-old has since been discharged.
The third woman fled the scene before police arrived, a Dog Squad search was unsuccessful in locating her.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or CCTV footage to come forward.
