Two men injured in Barkly Highway truck collision

Two men, including one with significant leg injuries, have been rushed to hospital following a crash involving two trucks along the Barkly Highway near Cloncurry.

Two men, including one with significant leg injuries, have been rushed to hospital following a crash involving two trucks along the Barkly Highway near Cloncurry.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a two-truck crash along the highway near the Mary Kathleen Township, between Mount Isa and Cloncurry around 3.20am on Friday.

Paramedics transported one male in his 40s with significant leg injuries and one adult male with head injuries to Mount Isa Hospital in a stable condition, according to Queensland Ambulance Service.
