Townsville woman charged with assault in party bus ruckus outside Bohle Barn

A female party bus passenger is facing charges after she allegedly assaulted security who stopped her going into a Townsville pub.

A female party bus passenger is facing charges after she allegedly assaulted security who stopped her from going into a Townsville pub.

Police had to be called to the Bohle Barn in Shaw after an altercation allegedly broke out between people outside the venue and security staff on Saturday night.

It alleged a bus load of people had arrived at the pub about 7.30pm, and a few were refused entry.

A 46-year-old Townsville woman was arrested at the scene.

She has been issued a notice to appear for common assault and disorderly conduct.
