Townsville’s lottery winning streak continues with a local shopper winning the weekend’s Super 66 draw’s near $330,000 prize, but they just haven’t realised yet.

Townsville’s lottery winning streak continues with a local shopper winning the weekend’s Super 66 draw’s near $330,000 prize, but they just haven’t realised yet.

The mystery winner held the only division one winning entry across Australia in Super 66 draw 4049 on Saturday. The entry won a prize of $327,064.35.

The division one win came just two days after a Townsville couple won almost $9 million in last Thursday’s Powerball draw.

The ticket is unregistered, so officials from the Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the news and have to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

The winning entry was purchased at North Shore Newsagency & Gifts.

North Shore Newsagency & Gifts owner Robert Amisano said he was hoping the winner checked their ticket soon.

“We’re thrilled to see another Townsville local pick up an incredible lottery prize,” he said.

The Lott spokeswoman Lauren Cooney said she was eager to confirm the news with Townsville’s latest division one winner.

“It was only a couple of days ago that we spoke to a Townsville couple who won almost $9 million in Thursday’s Powerball draw,” she said.

“There certainly seems to be a winning trend emerging in North Queensland.

“We’re urging anyone who purchased an entry into the weekend’s draw from North Shore Newsagency & Gifts to check their tickets today.”

The winning numbers were 5, 7, 1, 9, 8, and 2.
