On arguably the most important weekend of a Christian’s life, Townsville Bishop Tim Harris will lead the Easter celebrations in front of an empty cathedral.
The COVID-19 pandemic shut churches across the nation, but it will not stop Bishop Harris from spreading the message of Easter as he live streams services.
“I will be leading celebrations in the cathedral without a congregation,” he said.
“It’s the most important week of a Christian’s life, where Jesus conquered death.”
