ONE stolen four-wheel drive has been found torched this morning as police work to close in on two other stolen vehicles.
Townsville Police district duty officer Senior Sergeant Ian Wilkie said the white Toyota LandCruiser found alight in Garbutt was stolen from an address on Reward Cres, Bohle overnight.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze about 5.50am on Thursday.

Police are also following two other stolen 4WDs, including a white 2017 Toyota Prado stolen from Kirwan and a white 2017 Nissan Navara taken from Mount Louisa.
“One was sighted with about six juveniles inside,” Sen-Sgt Wilkie said.
The vehicles were spotted driving along Golf Links Dr toward Hervey Range Rd in Kirwan about 4.30am on Thursday.
