Police said investigations revealed earlier that day seven men turned up to a property off Evans Rd, Bramston Beach. One of the men was allegedly armed with a rifle.

A fight allegedly broke out between the group of men and another 59-year-old man, who was a resident of the property, resulting in the exchange of gunfire.
