Risque circus show Infamous returns to Townsville

Promising all new acts to titillate and amaze, risque circus show Infamous has returned to Townsville.

Promising all new acts to titillate and amaze, risque circus show Infamous has returned to Townsville.

Those 18 and older can expect to see plenty of flesh, muscle and eye-dazzling acts in the big top tent set up in Garbutt for the next six weeks.

Show director Joseph Ashton said his group of actors had been holed up on a showground at Susan River since the outbreak of COVID-19 in March, perfecting mind-boggling and raunchy acts.

“Every dance number is different and every dancer is different,” he said.

“We have five completely new acts. We have a shower on stage, (performers) will get wet and take their kit off.”

The sixth generation performer said show favourites such as the wheel of death and flying trapeze would feature.

The opening show tonight will be dedicated to his father Mervyn who died on Thursday.

“Today as we mourn, we will also celebrate a life that was lived as he was so lucky to be raised into the wonderful world of circus,” a tribute dedicated to Mervyn said.

“Born into the famous Ashton family, Mervyn was a talented and fearless flying trapeze artist, acrobat and horseman.”

Punters can expect a combination of sexy circus acts, raunchy dancing, live music and cheeky comedy.

“It’s a good show, I’m really proud of it,” Mr Ashton said.

Seats are limited under a COVID-19 plan. Tickets can be bought infamous.net.au.
