Person flees scene of car rollover at Woodstock

The dog squad was called to pursue a man after a single vehicle rollover left another man injured.

The dog squad was called to pursue a man after a single vehicle rollover.

Emergency services were called to the single vehicle rollover on the Flinders Highway, near Dingo Park Rd, at Woodstock shortly after 11.30pm on Sunday.

Police confirmed the car was not stolen but the alleged driver, a 23-year-old Calcium man, did flee and the dog squad searched the area.

The man was found a couple of hours later and taken to hospital with head injuries.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said no charges have been laid.

Another man in his 20s was taken to Townsville University Hospital in a stable conditions with minor hand injuries.
