BUSY parents can ‘drop and shop’ these school holidays while their kids swing, jump and climb their way around the ultimate physical challenge.
Ninja Parc Townsville is giving parents a helping hand this week with their Drop and Shop program while their kids conquer the indoor obstacle course.
Ninja Parc owner John Pirlo said the program gave parents the opportunity to complete their Christmas to-do list.
“Parents can drop their kids in and go shopping or do some errands and know that their kids are safe and looked after.”

The fitness entrepreneur said the inspiration behind Ninja Parc at Thuringowa was fun based play that incorporated exercise.
“If people have seen the Australian Ninja Warrior show it is similar to that style but it just isn’t over water,” he said.
“There is padding on everything and the kids get to try 20 different obstacles which are a mixture of balance based, strength based and some are fitness based obstacles.”
Mr Pirlo said the obstacle course was 1300 sqm of safe play that would ensure children were active over the summer break.
“The biggest problem is kids playing computer games during the school holidays and we don’t want them running around the streets either,” he said.
“So keeping kids busy during the holidays is critical so obviously Ninja Parc keeps them busy and they learn social skills and they learn to be better themselves.”
