Oasis Townsville is the place to go for a one-stop shop housing expo for current and former members of the defence force and their families.
The expo later this month is perfect for those eager to enter the Townsville property market and homeowners considering renovations or new builds.
There will be information on the Defence Home Ownership Assistance Scheme (DHOAS), the dynamics of the Townsville property market, and expert advice on buying, building and renovation projects.
Oasis Townsville Executive Leader Angie Barsby said the expo aimed to empower participants with essential insights needed to navigate housing opportunities effectively.
“At The Oasis Townsville, we recognise the unique challenges faced by our defence community in terms of housing,” she said.
“Our goal with this Housing Expo is to equip attendees with the tools and knowledge to make informed decisions, whether they are buying their first home, renovating, or simply exploring their options.”
The event will feature knowledgeable speakers who will present on a variety of topics, including the legalities surrounding purchasing and home ownership. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage directly with industry professionals during a Q&A session.
