One Townsville woman has turned her favourite past time of enjoying the outdoors laid back with good food and company into a high-end business.
Donna Mura said she was all set to kick off in April but COVID-19 restrictions created uncertainty over her passion project.
With picnics now approved, Meadow Moon has booked out for its launch on Mother’s Day.
“Initially it was gut wrenching but to now launch on Mother’s Day it feels that extra bit special,” Ms Mura said.
“I think just being able to go out, sit back and relax with loved ones is even more meaningful now.”

Ditching the hassle of preparing food and carting around the picnic gear, Ms Mura provides a fully curated outing leaving all of the heavy lifting to her.
Ms Mura said it was important to source quality ingredients and styling from local suppliers Cheese Please Platters and Ivy and Ann Florals to show off our region and add that extra touch of luxury.
“It’s fabulous that we have so many people that we have locally and can do last minute things without having to wait for delivery,” she said.
“It makes the options endless and I just hope people walk away feeling like they’ve had a magical experience.”
