A rescue helicopter has found and flown three men to hospital after they became bogged while driving to the Northern Territory.
The Mount Isa-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper was called to find the trio on Friday after Queensland Police were made aware from the group’s family that they had gone missing.
It was reported the men were bogged in the Boulia region due to recent rain, and had no service for three days.
One man walked 24kms before reaching service and contacted a family member who called police.
Paramedics have assessed all three patients and flown the men to Mount Isa Hospital for further assessment.
