A TOWNSVILLE mum is bringing cotton nappies back — and she says it actually helps bubs with their toilet training.
Jessica Cuddy said the modern cloth nappies are making a comeback and are now one of her best-selling products.
“I have been selling the modern cloth nappies for five years and … in the last 12 months it has just boomed,” she told the Bulletin.
Mum-of two Ms Cuddy — who owns baby business, My Little Gumnut — designs all her cloth nappies herself.
The nappies are made with a five-layered bamboo insert that includes two layers of bamboo and three layers of microfibre with a waterproof cover. “People are becoming more aware of eco-friendly products and the impact of disposal waste,” she said.
“It feels good to get the feedback from customers saying our products are helping them make environmentally conscious choices but also helping them save money.”
