The Pimlico life drawing model has no issue removing her kit and showing artists who she truly is, and encourages others to do the same.
Ms Drake, 60, has been the source of inspiration for artists in Townsville and Melbourne for 20 years.
“I love modelling. It’s been a wonderful journey and I would recommend it to everyone, 18-plus of course, because I’ve been able to see myself age through the years,” she said.
Modelling in the nude is not only restricted to locke- up studios. Ms Drake modelled in front of the shopfront window of the since-closed Tonoir’s Espresso on Flinders St.

Ms Drake said she was one of many to model in art sessions each Saturday in the Life Drawing Townsville group.
She said studying the human form helped artists improve their works on the canvas or paper.
“They say if you can learn to draw the human body you can draw anything,” she said.
Gerald Soworka, who hosts the drawing sessions, treats drawing as a form of meditation.
“I like things that demystify things. (Drawing) sidelines all those procrastinations,” he said.
