A 22-year-old woman has been charged in relation to an armed robbery in Gulliver where a female shopkeeper was allegedly threatened with a large carving knife.
Hermit Park woman Leandra Illin, 22, has been charged in relation to an armed robbery at the Yummies convenience store on Mooney St, Gulliver, on Tuesday evening.
She appeared in Townsville Magistrates Court on Friday charged with one count of enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence and armed robbery.
She was remanded in custody and her matters were adjourned to April 19.
Police will allege Illin and a male co-offender, also aged in his 20s, entered and robbed the store at about 6pm.
It will be alleged the man was armed with a large carving knife and threatened the female shop attendant before the pair stole some cash and fled the scene in a silver hatchback.
Police said investigations are continuing to locate the male suspect still outstanding.
