Nothing will be off limits this weekend with a comedy show set to push the boundaries of feminist humour.
In celebration of International Women’s Day on Sunday, 14 Townsville comedians will take the stage to wage war on what the typical women should look like.
Laugh ‘til you Leak will provide a comic range of musical performances, skits and stand-up comedy.
Townsville comedian Jacqueline Bisson will be shedding a humorous light on body image and the fashion industry.
“We expose the myths, with the fashion industry with body augmentation, Botox, facelifts ... and things like breast and butt implants,” she said. “Women are always pressured to do all these things and manipulate their bodies to achieve perfection and it is totally unrealistic.”

It is the sixth year Bisson has featured in the comedy show and said she wanted to point a spotlight on International Women’s Day.
Award-winning comedian Susan Mattocks will also perform her stand-up “upfront” comedy piece touching on middle age and menopausal issues.
Ms Mattocks encouraged everyone to support women in comedy.
“It’s important to celebrate International Women’s Day because it’s a day where we get to celebrate our achievements in all areas.”
>>Tickets for Laugh ‘til you Leak are $10. Doors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start on Saturday, March 7 at The Old Courthouse Townsville.
