A Townsville woman is facing a raft of drug charges after she was busted in a random traffic intercept in Ingham.
A Queensland Police Service statement said vigilant Ingham Highway Patrol officers stopped in the women at a static alcohol and drug testing site in the North Queensland town on Sunday, June 8.
It is alleged the 34-year-old Belgian Gardens woman was driving a hire vehicle without a licence.
During a search of the woman’s vehicle, police allegedly seized a replica firearm (metal gel blaster), drug utensils, including electronic scales, an ice pipe and 11 grams of cannabis.
The woman is due to appear in the Ingham Magistrates Court on August 7 charged with five counts of possessing drug utensils and one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, driving unlicensed and drug driving.
Investigations are continuing.
