A driver has been injured in a crash between a car and a garbage truck in the CBD this morning.

A hatchback involved in the crash was significantly damaged.

A driver has been injured in a crash between a car and a garbage truck in the CBD this morning.

Paramedics were called to the crash at the intersection of Stanley and Willis St about 8.15am to reports a hatchback and a garbage struck had collided.

Photos from the scene show the hatchback with significant damage to the left side of the car.
