A Pimlico man has been busted allegedly driving more than six times over the legal alcohol limit.
The 37-year-old was charged with high range drinking driving after police intercepted his Hyundai hatchback on Plume St in South Townsville about 11pm on Christmas Eve.
When at the station the man allegedly returned a blood alcohol concentration reading of 0.305 per cent, more than six times the legal alcohol limit.
The man is due to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on January 14.
